Remake Learning Days 2025

The Explore Hummingbird Robotics event will be held Saturday, May 3 from 10:00am-11:30am at Latrobe Elementary School. Students in grades 5 and 6, with their family members, are invited to dive into a morning of robotics engineering! Participants will explore the Hummingbird Bit Premium kit contents and use iPads to complete coding challenges as they learn this fun and engaging robotic system. The morning will culminate in the building and coding of a drumming robot. Come explore, and dive into the world of robotics, coding, and “making!”

The L.E.A.P. INTO SUMMER Events are open to current Kindergarten and First Grade students. L.E.A.P. (Learning Expanded through Active Play) is a program that provides students with daily opportunities for outdoor play in the primary grades. Research demonstrates that opportunities for outdoor, active play can benefit children in a number of ways, including improved academic performance, attention, peer interaction skills, and physical and mental well being. Learn about the program, explore outside, and observe free play in action. Three elementary schools = three separate L.E.A.P. events. These three events are rain or shine. In the event of inclement weather, the event will be held indoors.

  1. Thursday, May 1 at Baggaley Elementary 4:00-5:30
  2. Thursday, May 8 at Mt. View Elementary 4:00-5:30
  3. Thursday, May 15 at Latrobe Elementary: 4:00-5:30

During each of the four events, each student must have a separate accompanying adult (or two).

Registration will open on April 4 and closes April 21. A limited number of spots are available. Please visit our Explore Hummingbird Robotics and L.E.A.P. INTO SUMMER Event registration pages to register for the events!
